Beginning today until August 9th, we will be collecting gift cards for Pastor Jordan and his family. There will be a gift card tree in the vestibule. If you need more info see Ruth Martin. Your giving is greatly appreciated.
TALATHA BAPTIST CHURCH is so excited to announce that Johnathan and Jennifer Cobb and family will be here next Sunday, August 2nd in our morning service. Please join us as they share their journey of walking 4000 miles across the US to bring awareness to pediatric cancer. Their 8 year old daughter, Julia Cobb, went from one Magic Kingdom to another when she passed away from Ewing sarcoma Cancer. Please check out Jucanfoundation.org and Julia Cobb Foundation on FB. Jonathan Cobb was serving as pastor in Florida when Julia was diagnosed and gave up his church to move in MD Anderson to receive care for their Julia. For info contact Kara Carter. Please check out their website. Love offering will be taken.
VBS Food Committee is asking for donations of 2 liter drinks, any flavor, and/or monetary donations. Please see Teresa Hubbard. Thanks!

Please be in prayer for Pastor Jordan, Meredith, Zoey, Samuel, and Isaac Bird as they make preparations to move from Dallas, Texas to Aiken, S.C. He will be here Sunday August 9th.
